As the 2011 year winds down to a close, I am reminded of how much fun it has been to meet all of you and spend quality time with you at the range and in class. I hope you enjoyed the training as much as I did presenting the NRA program to you.
It is truly amazing how well many of you did at the range with your respective equipment. All of you have renewed my confidence in the strength of the average American citizen to stand up and defend what is right regardless of age or gender. Most of all you have made me proud to be your instructor.
It is not just a catchy phrase on my card. I want to be your instructor for life. Really? Yes, I want to be instrumental in your ongoing training in 2012. That means I will gladly go to the range of your choice in our area to shoot with you. Actually it would be fun for me and it does not cost you anything for me to go shoot with you. You will need to pay for your range time and your own ammo, of course. The idea is this, a way for you to practice with your own equipment under the trained eye of your favorite instructor, me.
Why would I want to do this and isn’t it cost prohibitive for me? Yes, it costs time and money to go to the range we all know that. But it is also a way for me to help you be safer and shot better and you may be able to help me meet another potential student. Your referrals of friends and colleagues are very important and helpful to me. I try to keep the classes small for obvious reasons so an extra student here and there is very helpful. Please keep me in mind for this.
Eagle Eye Arms & Training has enjoyed a great year because e of you. Thank you for your business and your continued support. As I secure more training disciplines I will let you know in case any of you would enjoy taking a more advanced training course as they become available. I knowI would love to have any of you back in class for more advanced training.
Don’t forget we sell new and pre-owned guns. Most of the guns I offer to my students and their friends are offered with a full lifetime guarantee form the distributer and are either new in the box or with very minimal use. Generally the used guns have just barely been broken in, many with less than 300 rounds fired through the gun. All of the guns I offer are first quality and reliable for the intended purpose which is often self defense in the home or on your person.
What if you want a specific gun that I do not have in stock? I have an extensive network of local dealers and national distributors and can generally get you whatever you want (within reason) at less than the full retail price. Some rare guns that are limited production can be found but expect to pay more for them. If you don’t know what you want yet I can still help you with that. There are so many choices out there it is easy to get confused so don’t be bashful about asking for help. Remember this is fun for me and I would be happy to help you; all I ask in return is that you pick your final selection from me. If you agree to that I will help you do all the research you can stand until we find exactly what you are looking for. What if you want to hold it in your hand to see if it fits? This is always a good idea and I have a lot of different guns and you can hold them all. You can even dry fire them so you can feel the trigger pull weight. I also have a variety of used gun that I will allow you to shoot as well so you can get a feel for the caliber of gun that works best for you. As you can appreciate there is a lot to making a good decision before you buy a gun that you will most likely have for a long time. When you choose wisely you will enjoy your gun until it is time to pass it along to a younger family members or trade or sell. In any case I would be happy to help you regardless of your preference.
Most of you know by now that I like guns and have a small collection that I enjoy shooting. The smaller caliber guns such as the 22 LR are easy to shoot and accurate (that makes it more fun at the range) and they are inexpensive to shoot if you enjoy doing it often. Also they are affordable to purchase. You can get a good one for less than $ 250.00 today!
In closing I am going to ask if you have cleaned your gun since the last time you fired it? I hope the answer is yes, before you put it away. If not and you need help with this I would be happy to clean your gun, for you. Guns that do not require dis assembly cost $ 20.00 for a basic clean and lube with preservative to keep it ready for action whenever you need it next. If it required field stripping to clean that cost is $ 40.00. I will pick them up and return them usually within 48 hours or less. If you want instructions so you can field strip you own gun that cost $ 60.00 and take a little over an hour of your time at the table. I will provide the cleaning material for the first lesson after that you will need your own kit, of course.
Thank you again for your patronage. I appreciate you and your business.
